Q: Can you take if you are on blood thinning medication?
A: No. Omega 3 is contraindicated with blood thinning medications.

Q: Who cannot take Cleanmarine?
A: There are a few key contraindications such as during pregnancy, anybody with a shellfish allergy and those on anti-coagulant medication. Omega 3 whether it’s from fish or seed will naturally thin the blood and this is not advisable whilst taking blood thinning (anti-coagulant) medications. Always check with your GP or pharmacist if you’re on any prescribed medication, before taking any types of food supplements.

Q: What kinds of conditions will the Cleanmarine range help with?
A: Cleanmarine contains a phospholipid (easily absorbable) Omega 3, designed for people to take as a supplement to their diet. There are lots of well documented studies on omega 3 for conditions such as – arthritis, inflammation, high cholesterol, improving memory, improving blood pressure and PMS.

Q: Can you take more than 2 capsules a day?
A: There are different recommendations for different products in the range, although we typically recommend taking two capsules a day. Some studies have looked at taking four capsules a day, this would be for example high inflammatory conditions or high cholesterol, in conjunction with advice from your Nutritional Therapist or GP.

Q: Is Cleanmarine for Women safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding?
A: No. Rosemary is contraindicated with pregnancy as it can cause uterine contractions and could potentially induce miscarriage. Please consult your GP before taking any nutritional supplements.

Q: What is the benefit of the Rosemary Oil?
A: Rosemary Oil scientifically known as Rosmarinus officinalis Linn – a native of the Mediterranean coastlines. It contains two important ingredients, caffeic acid and rosemarinic acid, both of these acids are potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agents. 

Q: Is it safe to take Rosemary with epilepsy?
A: Please consult your GP before taking any nutritional supplements.

Q: Will Cleanmarine for Women interfere with the contraceptive pill?
A: No.

Q: Can you take it if allergic to shellfish?
A: No. All Cleanmarine products contain Krill which are crustaceans.

Q: Is Krill gluten free?
A: Yes.

Q: Where is the proof that it is free of contamination?
